A tornado was spotted on the ground 9 miles southwest of Hickory near Icard, North Carolina, according to the National Weather Service out of Greenville/Spartanburg. The tornado was reported to be moving northeast at 70 mph.	NWS Severe Storm Prediction Center Monday showed a Day 1 Tornado Risk of 5% a 14,819 square mile area including Raleigh, NC...Durham, NC...Fayetteville, NC...Charleston, SC...Cary, North Carolina.
